Joleen is the Regional External Affairs Manager with FirstEnergy. She serves as the Secretary of the Board and on the Campaign Committee. After managing the FirstEnergy employee campaign, Joleen got to know the executive director and staff at Centre County United Way. In 2017 she was asked to co-chair the annual campaign and accepted the board position. Joleen believes in the United Way Partner Network because the health and human service agencies work together to holistically assist individuals and families by plugging gaps in their lives around education, financial independence and healthcare. By raising funds for the network of agencies, United Way enables the agency to focus their attention on delivering quality programs and serving clients in need of assistance.
Joleen has lived in Centre County for more than 20 years and currently resides in State College. She is a graduate of Leadership Centre County and a member of the Community Diversity Group, Campus and Community in Unity, and Wildlife for Everyone. Joleen enjoys morning yoga and riding e-bikes with her husband.
