The Hamer Foundation Community Disaster Fund

The Hamer Foundation Community Disaster Fund is available to help those who are facing financial struggles as a result of COVID-19. Types of support will include, but are not limited to:

Rent, mortgage payments
Hotel stays for emergency shelter
Food
Utility bills
Medication costs
Childcare costs

If you are an individual seeking assistance, you must call Centre Helps at (814) 237-5855 to be referred to the organization that can best help you with your specific needs. Only non-profit organizations will be able to apply for this funding on behalf of an individual.

If you are a non-profit organization inquiring on behalf of someone in need, please refer to the Hamer Fund Process Instructions that your agency received via email from Leanne Lenz. If you do not have instructions, please contact Centre County United Way at (814) 238-8283.
