Join us as we kick off the 2024 Campaign with a week full of activities and opportunities to support the 2024 Campaign. Below is a schedule of events, follow us on social media to stay up to date with all kick off week happenings!
Monday - August 26
Cheers for Charity at Legends Pub
Consider dining at Legend's at 215 Innovation Blvd, State College, PA 16803 from 11 am - close, they will donate 10% of your bill to Centre County United Way!
Tuesday - August 27
Live United Academy
Join us for our FIRST ever Live United Academy. This event is free and is open to the public. We will spend the afternoon connecting with our friends, while we learn more about the United Way, our partner agencies, emerging community needs, and how you can help. Welcoming reception will start at 10:30 am our program will start with a mouth-watering lunch prepared by the Taste of the Town Fan Favorite Center Care Chefs at 11:30 am. This promises to be an afternoon of inspiration and collaboration to remember! Register today!
Spikes Night
Spend a night at the ballpark with Centre County United Way and the State College Spikes! One of the last home games of the season and it's Taco Tuesday! We will be recipients of the 50/50 and there will be other ways to make an evening of fun a way to give back! Gates open a 6:35 pm. Purchase tickets online and $3 dollars will be donated to CCUW! Wednesday - August 28
Dining to Donate at Applebee's
Skip cooking for the night and take the family to Applebee's! From 11 am - close when you mention Centre County United Way and 10% of your check will be donated to the campaign!
Thursday - August 29
LION Bash
Check us out at LION Bash (Living In One Neighborhood). A community resource fair and block party. This free event is for everyone in the community!

LION Bash is a partnership between the Borough of State College and Penn State University.
Friday - August 30
Blonde Bistro
Visit our friends at the Blonde Bistro Brew Works at 226 Nittany Valley Dr. Bellefonte, Pa 16823 and a portion of proceeds will be donated to Centre County United Way!
